Kwara State University October take-off is certain PDF Print E-mail

The Kwara State Governor, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki yesterday expressed satisfaction over the tempo of construction work at the campus of the State University, Malete in Moro Local Government Area of the state. Answering questions from newsmen during his visit to the university site in Malete, the governor expressed optimism about the October take-off of the University.

The governor who dismissed the rumour on the usage of the state College of Education, Ilorin for the take-off of the university said “the tempo and the quality of work is quite impressive and satisfactory. According to him, “We don’t have the intention of using any College of Education, so, what we have seen on ground now is a great improvement compared to what we met on ground during the last inspection. The quality of work now is impressive and satisfactory and they promised to continue with the tempo at which they work and with that, it definitely shows the structure will be ready by October,” Governor Bukola explained.

The governor however commended all and sundry for their contributions in ensuring that the job improved,, urging them not to rest on their oars in ensuring that the October take-off of the university becomes a reality. The Project Manager, Architect Jimoh Faworaja who conducted the governor round the project site promised to exploit all available opportunities to ensure the completion of the project is within specification.
