The Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has called on Kwarans to partner with the government with a view to moving the state forward.

Governor Saraki made the call when the Mustapha Akanbi Foundation (MAF) paid him a thank-you-visit at the Government House, Ilorin.

The governor who stressed the need for the state indigenes to partner with the present administration in the state. He stated that such would further enhance delivery of more developmental projects across the state.

He also saluted the courage and vision of the founder of the Foundation, Justice Mustapha Akanbi for his vision, as he called on others to emulate the jury.

While praising him for his selfless service to humanity, he described him as incorruptible judge that left lasting legacy on the sand of time.

According to him, “you’re a pride of the state in particular and Nigeria at large because you are a role model whose achievements cannot be forgotten in hurry.”

The governor who assured the Foundation of government support at all times, urging the founder’s advice for the preset administration from time to time.

The founder of the Foundation, Justice Mustapha Akanbi had earlier in his address said he was in the Government House to thank the government for its kind and financial support for the foundation.

He explained that the state government’s donation together with others are being used to build the foundation’s secretariat.

Justice Akanbi also explained that the purpose of setting up the foundation was to contribute his quota towards the development of the state particular and Nigeria at large.
