The authorities of Ifelodun Local Government Area (LGA) of Kwara State have donated items and relief materials valued at N18.5 million to the people of the council.  

The beneficiaries of the gesture include: second class Traditional Rulers, disabled persons, members of the vigilance group, widows, graduating apprentices and victims of rainstorm disasters.  

According to the council chairman, Alhaja Nimota Alabi yesterday at the event marking the distribution of the materials, the gesture was aimed at palliating the socio-economic hardship of the people of the council.  

Alibi said, “Since the inception of our administration late last year, concerted efforts have been made by us to place high premium on projects, programmes and activities that have direct positive impact on the lives of the people of this LGA.
