Kwara State Government approves the composition of Governing councils for two agencies PDF Print E-mail

The Kwara State Government has approved the composition of Governing Councils for the two agencies under the Kwara State Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, the Citizens Mediation Centre and the Office of Public Defender.

An Ilorin-based legal practitioner, Mallam Yusuf Ola-olu Ali is to head the Office of Public Defender while the Citizens Mediation Centre is headed by Justice Saka Yusuf, a retired Chief Judge of the State.

Other members of the Council of the Office of Public Defender are Mrs. Muinat Adeleye, Mrs Hameedat Yusuf, Dr. Wahab Egbewole and Mr. Mohammed Aminu.

Members of the Council of Citizens Mediation Centre include Mrs. Yemi Agboola, Mrs Biola Adimula, Mr. Tunde Olomu, Mr. M. O. Lawal, Mr. Ibrahim Koto and Mr. Olarewaju Ajani.

Others are Mohammed Jega, J.K. Alabi, Alhaji S. P. Mustapha, Alhaji Baba Bello, Mr. Mohammed Abdulwahab and Reverend Cornelius Fawenu.

In a related development, Governor Bukola Saraki has approved the appointment of Mallam Sadiq Kolawole Abubakar from Moro Local Government as Chairman of the Governing Council of Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies, Ilorin.

Alhaji Abubakar’s appointment followed the death of the former Chairman, Alhaji Sadiq Salman.

Dr. Saraki urged the new Chairman to bring his sterling qualities to bear in his new assignment.
