Quite a significant number of the State’s youth have trained as commercial drivers. However many have been rendered jobless because they had no vehicles. Through the government’s micro-credit scheme, government has made 50 buses available to this category of youths on a lease agreement, while another 50 has been provided through the Kwara State Transport Corporation, ‘The Kwara Express.”

Motor-cycle is a popular means of transportation, especially within the metropolis and other urban centres across the State. It is therefore a major means of occupation for the youths. Government has also provided 1,000 motor-cycles on a lease agreement to the same number of youths in the State.
