Governor Bukola Saraki approves the constitution of a 13-member committee on salary increase |

Kwara State Governor, Dr Bukola Saraki has approved the constitution of a 13-member committee to deliberate on the proposed 15% salary increase for civil servants in the State.
The 13-member committee, which is made up of representatives of government and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has the Head of Service, Alhaji Mohammed Dabarako as Chairman while the Permanent Secretary, Establishment in the office of Head of Service would serve as Secretary.
Other members of the Committee include Commissioners of Finance and Education, Permanent Secretaries for Finance and State Planning Commission, State Accountant General, Chairman Board of Internal Revenue and five representatives of NLC.
Among the committee’s terms of reference is to come up with suitable recommendations for implementation on the proposed salary increase.
The committee has two weeks to submit its findings and recommendations to the State Government.
