Achievements
A government vision and mission are roundly, easily measured by the degree of attention paid to some sensitive ministerial responsibilities as transportation and public works. This is perhaps because they form the nucleus of its business.
This concept is, no doubt, paramount in the reckoning of the Governor Bukola Saraki Administration since 2003. The many activities of the ministry of works and transport have been veritable vehicles through wish the vision and dreams have been actualized.
Through its many road projects, Kwara State today is arguably, number one state in opening up all the hitherto nooks and crannies. There is hardly any part of the state that can be tagged disadvantaged. Here, the issue is not just about opening up or accessing communities in the state but with a competitive quality of international standard.
The Kwara State Road Maintenance Agency (KWAMA) has been very actively involved in achieving maximum results with minimal cost through its direct labour initiative.
Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin is one of the standard road constructed by the Administration of Governor Bukola Saraki.
The Cargo Terminal is set to become a major regional asset, with refrigeration facilities allowing for the import and export of time-sensitive products such as fresh fruit and flowers
The new Ilorin International Airport constructed by Governor Bukola Saraki-led Administration. The Airline Operators have been enjoying good patronage due to the increase in economic activities in Kwara State.
The Kwara State Government is committed to improving the state's road infrastructure, as is evident from the construction of the new flyover in Ilorin
The Aviation College is one of the initiatives of Governor Bukola Saraki. The Aviation College will become a great citadel for training pilots to meet the high demand in the country
